Well, news update! I got the job as a waitress at a pizzeria! :) This is so exciting! I have a bright red shirt to wear that will make me stand out like a sore thumb (especially because the rest of the workers are wearing black! But apparently they were out of black!) Oh well. I start next week, and then I go to Ireland next Sunday so I hope I don't forget everything!!!
I'm on another one of my David Archuleta "Crush" binges-it's ridiculous. For whatever reason, the fake claps and adolescent hearthrob vocal squeals are just so appealing to me! I sometimes feel the same way he does- "when we're hanging spending time girl, are we just friends is there more?"
I have slept in for the last 3 days, so next goal: get up at 6 tomorrow to get things done! Good grief!
Also, I found a little notebook that I was keeping...it was probably my junior/senior year in high school... that has a whole list of things that I want to do before I die! HOW EXCITING!!! This is really taking off! Hooray!

There are so many things to do in this world! I can hardly believe it!! And the thing is... wanna know the thing? I want to do all of it! This blog's purpose is to measure the success of my "14000 things to do before I die." 14000! That is so many! I know. And I don't have all 14000 things picked out yet- all I know is that there are so many things I want to do that I need to be efficient in order to get them done. Therefore, this blog will track my progress.
So.
First order of business: get a job as a waitress.
That doesn't sound like the most appealing job to very many people, but it is something I have wanted to do for a long time. Why? Because getting jobs that are "less than desirable" gives me a way to connect with a lot of different kinds of people.
My previous jobs:
Babysitter (who wasn't?)
Cleaning Lady
Piano Teacher
Cafe food prep/sales
Hotel Maid
English Tutor
Caterer
Bakery "Donut Designer" (oh the prestige!)
Floral Arranger
My current job:
Child Development Center
My (hopefully!) future job:
Waitress at Village Inn or a Pizzeria
I have an interview with the Pizzeria people in about an hour. My hours at the Child Dev. Center are kinda wack and end right in the middle of the dinner hour, so I don't know how successfully I will be in getting a job there today. We'll see.
In the future I also want to get a job as a airport shoe shiner and someone who plays piano in the mall (although, that one would require me to get over my fear of playing in front of people!)
Well, that's all for now- not that anyone is reading this. Soon there will be a list on the side of the screen with various things I want to do in life. That list will just get longer and longer and these posts will expound upon the things on the list. Until later!
What did the tree say to the math teacher?
Gee! I'm a tree!
