My guess is there is a difference between fresh sugar cane and canned. My boss told me that here it is really good but that you have to be careful when biting into it, it's hard enough that it could break your teeth. Just a random question, how did you choose the 14000 things?
Yes! And, I had to read online how to eat sugar cane, and you are suppose to only chew the stalks-- not to swallow. It's like bark, and I guess in places where sugar cane is eaten, school kids just chew it like gum. Crazy!!
I'm just loving life one thing-to-do-before-I-die at a time! This is not a complete list--aka I don't know all 14000 things off the top of my head: when I think of new things to put on the list, I just add them, do them, and cross them off. Simple as that. Some are lofty, some are lame, but all will (hopefully) get done someday before I die.
The other day, I read the following fabulous quote: "Remember, when you are healthy, that just means that you're dying at the slowest possible rate." I laughed a little, and then realized! Gah! I have so much more to get done before I die!!
